Women's Circle

I am calling a circle and invite you to join us.

This circle is for you if;

You yearn for a safe space within which to be authentic, trusting, caring and open to change.

You are searching for a way of life that embraces wisdom and compassion as its core principles. And by ‘wisdom’ I mean deep insight into the interdependence and web that weaves us together, into the ways we are connected and how the strength of each one of us is vital to the whole. By ‘compassion’ I mean the deep feeling that comes when we recognise our soul’s reflection in another person when that other person’s pain or joy becomes our own.

You know that the place to begin is within your own heart and mind.

You want to share your efforts in self-discovery and spiritual enquiry in the company of kindred spirits.

You recognise the advantages inherent in the way the entire ecosystem organises itself: with an emphasis on interdependence, diversity and the well-being of future generations. To integrate these values into our daily lives, we need the strength and support of a larger community.

If you are feeling this then I invite you to come sit with us in a circle, meeting heart to heart, learning from each other’s life experiences and honoring the values that sustain our lives.

This is a place for deep truth-telling, for practicing a way of relating to each other that can become the norm for all our relationships. This is also a place for recognising our own unique talents and abilities.

The circle is an ancient and universal symbol for unity and wholeness. For many a millennia human beings have met in tribal or village circles to tell stories, provide mutual support, and arrive at an understanding of the common good.

It is time for us to come together in an intimate circle that shares the same goal: the creation of a compassionate community that values the wisdom and welfare of our journey as women.

We need more than anything to be seen, known, accepted and loved as we are. This circle can offer intimacy to the lonely; nourishment to the spiritually hungry; recognition to the underappreciated; a safe place for those needing to vent anger, fear, and frustration; and strength to those who are trying to push beyond their assumed limits.

If you are feeling a full-bodied YES or tinglings of curiosity then I encourage you to RSVP. Places in this circle will be limited so that we can create an intimate, trusting connection with each other. I want this space to serve as many women in our community as possible and at the same time need to honour the depth of facilitating this inner work.
